For centuries, cairns-intentionally stacked stones- have stood
as quiet guardians of memory. They commemorate people, places, friendships and moments we refuse to let time erase.
Often, they serve as markers of forgotten paths- whispers of journeys once traveled, inviting us to rediscover them with fresh eyes and renewed wonder.
Drawn to the magic of kaleidoscopes since childhood, Corbin reimagines this timeless instrument- infusing it with sculptural elegance and interactive spirit. Each piece invites touch, curiosity and participation. At its heart lies a rotating bowl, beckoning the viewer to place their own treasures within: fragments of nature, color, light, or memory- unlocking infinite landscapes uniquely their own.
In Corbin's cairn kaleidoscopes, stones become poetry. Natural rocks- patiently drilled, pinned, epoxied, and stacked- transform into living forms, echoing balance, harmony and presence. Combined with hand-cut glass mirrors, bronze power metal tubes, and hard wood bases, each sculpture is both vessel and vision: a fusion of nature and imagination.
These pieces do more than decorate: they breathe. They offer a moment of stillness, a glimpse of serenity, and a meditative dance of light and shadow. A visual sanctuary. A stone-spoke story.
